JDAnthony is the interactive marketing specialist for the medical industry. We are located in the heart of Pittsburgh's Downtown Cultural District.

Students from Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh have all gained valuable experience through our internships.

We are currently looking for an intern to assist with marketing communications, account management and design. This internship also includes market research for new business prospects. This internship provides a real-world look into how a medical communications-design company operates on a day-to-day basis, while imparting the skills needed to succeed in today's business world.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Creative marketing solutions design and promotions composition
  • Generation of marketing literature
  • Review and distribution of promotional materials
  • Assistance with editorial calendars and market demographic studies
  • Account management assistance
  • Print and web copy development

Required:

  • Submission of design portfolio
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Color Theory
  • Design Layout
  • Quark Express and/or InDesign

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, with strong backgrounds in graphic design, marketing or advertising. The scope of this internship is UNPAID, but we will work with your educational institute to make sure you receive course credits. We also provide letters of recommendation and resume building skills for outstanding work. Candidates are accepted from any location, US or international. Work will be performed on location in Downtown, Pittsburgh. Minimum hours required are dependent on individual school guidelines and project completion requirements.  We typically expect between 20-30 hours a week on location.
