JDAnthony is the interactive marketing specialist for the medical industry. We are located in the heart of Pittsburgh's Downtown Cultural District.

Students from Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh have all gained valuable experience through our internships.

We are currently looking for an intern to assist with researching, writing, editing, storyboarding and concepting work related to web, print, branding and interactive projects. This internship provides a real-world look into how a creative department operates on a day-to-day basis in support of a quickly-growing company, while imparting the skills needed to succeed in today's business world.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Research
  • Writing and editing articles for multiple media
  • Develop concepts for interactive campaigns and e-learning modules
  • Conduct and transcribe interviews
  • Writes scripts, advertising, and marketing copy
  • Checks facts and proofreads projects
  • Some administrative work

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with co-workers and clients
  • Solid conceptual thinker and idea generator
  • Ability to take complex information and present it in a streamlined and easy-to-understand way
  • Writer and editor experience
  • Strong grammar and punctuation a must
  • College- English or journalism
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines
  • Enjoy working with graphic designers and appreciates their contributions

Candidates must have excellent communication skills. The scope of this internship is UNPAID, but we will work with your educational institute to make sure you receive course credits. We also provide letters of recommendation and résumé-building skills for outstanding work. Candidates are accepted from any location, US or international. Work will be performed on location in downtown Pittsburgh. Minimum hours required are dependent on individual school guidelines and project completion requirements.  We typically expect between 20-30 hours a week on location.
